Since she was a kid, Hillary Johnson has been fascinated with sound and music. For over 15 years, she has spent much of her time as a recording engineer in the studio twiddling knobs for many bands from New York, as well as across the country and abroad. INDEPENDENT/MAJOR RELEASES and COMMERCIAL WORK:
In addition to local up-and-comers you may or may not have heard of, she has also worked with established artists, such as Jeff Buckley, Jennifer Kimball, Rufus Wainwright, The Ramones, The Prids, Bell Hollow, Bishop Allen, The Misfits, Project Jenny, Project Jan, and Michael Gira (Swans, Angels Of Light). Hillary has also worked with producers such as Lenny Kaye, Henry Rollins, Genya Ravan, and Daniel Rey. Hillary has also recorded and mixed original music by composers for Volkswagon, Olay, Bridgestone, and many more.
