PRODUCER / RECORDING ENGINEER / MASTERING ENGINEER / LIVE:
Over the past 20 years, Hillary has worked in the studio with artists such as The Prids, Bell Hollow, Michael Gira (Swans, Angels Of Light), Psychic TV, Jeff Buckley, The Misfits, Jennifer Kimball, Rufus Wainwright, The Ramones, Bishop Allen, Project Jenny, Project Jan, Nile Rodgers, Vernon Reid, Stereojax and Umbrella Brigade. She has also worked with producers such as Lenny Kaye, Henry Rollins, Genya Ravan, and Daniel Rey. More recently Hillary has been mastering independent releases as well as doing live sound. She mixes weekly performances at the Wierd party in NYC.

TECHNICIAN:
In addition to being a recording veteran, Hillary does audio installation and minor repairs and has wired rooms for Sound On Sound, Legacy Recording Studios, The Mars Volta, Future Shock (Alex Newport) and various others. She also maintains sound systems for NYC venues Home Sweet Home, Niagara and several others.

WRITER:
Hillary occasionally shares her knowledge in print and on the web. She is a Senior Contributor for Tape Op Magazine including interviews with Interpol, Wharton Tiers, Michael Gira, Gordon Raphael and others. She has also contributed equipment reviews and commentary. Additionally, she has written for The Deli Magazine (NYC) including interviews with A Place To Bury Strangers, Bishop Allen, The Walkmen and others.

EDUCATOR:
Hillary has been a panelist and moderator for TapeOpCon conferences (2002-2007) as well as a panelist for the Indie Music Forum with Mark Mothersbaugh, Larry Crane (2000) and Ladyfest Scotland (2001). She has also been an instructor for Manhattan Recording Workshop (1999-2000).

DJ / PROMOTER / PERFORMER:
HI-FI HILLARY spins old/dark/new/cold wave at various underground NYC clubs including Contempt, Disko Nouveaux, The Red Party, and Wierd, as well as various parties and shows. She has also played keyboards and percussion with Bell Hollow (2006-2008) and keyboards, theremin and percussion with Crowns On 45 (2000-2002).
